Yes. Many engagements begin with one model and evolve. A discovery phase under Managed Product Engineering can transition to an Embedded Specialist model once your team has the architecture in place. Any change is agreed in advance with clear scope, governance, and commercial terms.

IP ownership is defined in the engagement agreement. Clients typically own all project-specific software, infrastructure definitions, and deliverables created during the engagement. Built-in IP governance, NDAs, and access controls are included across all three models.

For Embedded Specialists and Dedicated Pods, engineers are typically onboarded and contributing within five to seven business days of agreement. Managed Product Engineering engagements begin with a discovery and planning phase before engineering starts.

All CodeCones engineers are senior level, typically six or more years of specialist experience. We do not place junior engineers in client engagements. Each model includes the technical leadership appropriate to its scope.
